Frequently asked

QUESTIONS

  • How much does it cost?
£8 per person, £6 for under 12s, for a standard 3 hour session. If you want longer then you can extend your stay for £2.5/hr. We also have a Cafe Membership which gives you money off entry and free drinks, see our 'Memberships' page for more info.
  • Can you help us with the games?
We sure can! We can recommend you games we think you'll enjoy, help you set them up, and teach you the rules for them.
  • Do I need to book?
You don't have to, but as we do get busy at peak times we recommend booking to guarantee yourself a space. After all, if you're turned away from a packed restaurant there are plenty of other places to eat, but if you can't get in here there's nowhere else to go play games!
  • Can I bring my own games or play D&D?
Sure you can! We regularly get people bringing their own games to play on our large tables, and D&D groups using us for our friendly, welcoming atmosphere (and to buy dice of course!).
  • Can we bring our dogs to the cafe?
We welcome 'well behaved dogs' in the cafe.
  • Can I drop my kids off for a few hours?
Definitely, plenty of people do exactly that. Do note though that we will treat your kids as adults while they visit; we are not a baby sitting service and take no responsibility for their care.
  • Where can I park?
Use town centre car parks during the day, and after 6pm the High Street is right outside and free to park on.
